A handrawn map I made for my boyfriend's homebrew D&D campaign. [x-post /r/DnD]

The map: Aristenia

I drew this over a total of 3 or 4 hours I think and I learned a lot with it. This map is the first I actually inked a map and the first in this style -- most of my older maps were generally much simpler. It actually came about when my boyfriend (who doesn't really know the first thing about mapping) was showing me the map he had made in Inkarnate and I ended up just deciding to redo it with significantly more detail for him.

I'm thinking I might add labels for the towns and whatnot, but I'll need to practice lettering for them before I go and do it.

He hasn't seen the semi-final product I'm linking here yet and I'm hoping he'll like it.
