(This isn't the whole map, just the part that actually has things on it.)
So, I loosely followed a worldbuilding process from Worldbuilding Corner. Loosely as in I trudged along and fast forwarded through the parts that bored me with complicated calculations and technical jargon.
I was pretty amazed some months ago with my first original map. I felt pretty accomplish, and loved the original idea I came up with. Now the world I want to keep... But I'm starting to wonder if the map is actually holding me back cause I've undoubtedly missed crucial steps and my understanding of the complexities of geography is limited.
I know it's better to create a map sooner than later for this sort of thing but... I made the mistake of starting my world with the map, rather than just developing the ideas themselves. So instead of having a canvas for my imagination. I'm stuck with an empty white board I can't seem to fill with anything that meets my personal standards of intrigue awe-inspiring fantasy.
To get to the point.
I wanna delete (not really) but abandon the map entirely and actually work on the things that make this world interesting and not stare at my bad line work any longer than necessary.
I'm looking to be convinced that I'm just being too hard on myself and what's done is done. Or I'm right and this was a waste of time, and I should stop worrying about it.
