I want to know if I'm overthinking something. I recently made an introductory post to my fantasy world. I used AI to help me translate, but after a community member pointed out that it seemed overdone I agreed. I deleted the post and decided to manually translate some texts and eventually decided to add more detailed descriptions in some areas and remove other more redundant descriptions. I'm not going to change any of my main ideas, but in the old text, I may have been a little coy about certain topics when I first wrote it.
My current dilemma. There is a race in Kiin (the name of my fantasy world) called Kima, they are humanoids that have fox characteristics (ear and tail) and some of them, called Kimas Rel, have horns and small stone formations that come out of some regions of their skin. Those that have only the fox characteristics are called Kimas Aar. With the groups defined, my current problem is with the relationship between them. I wrote that the Kimas have these natural tendencies: Kimas Rel are more dominant and Kima Aar are more submissive. Within their society, this is visible in some forms of behavior, ways of speaking, dress, and also in what they are attracted to. One thing that I sometimes feel I need to stress about is that Kimas Aar are not slaves or socially forced into the position they are in, for the Kimas this relationship is natural and a more genuine way of expressing emotions. But sometimes I feel that I need to stress certain things or play devil's advocate. My question is, do you think that I'm thinking too much about what other people might think about it, or yes, this is a delicate subject and I have to be very careful when I write about it?
(Also small disclaimer I am new to the idea of sharing my "world-building" so two things might happen here. First I might be offering to little contest because I don't people to feel overwhelmed with a big post second because I never share anything this is probably the reason I feel I need to ask this question.)
