It works alot like magic with mana, or life, and the spells performed are like wizard magic and runic spellcraft. But I want to avoid calling it magic (that describes something else I will bring up later) because that implies it is mystical and unknown. But i want it to sound and fell like science, known about and 'normal' yet still being researched.
For reference magic, at least at the start, references these special flowers that allows someone to transform into a range of different things, these are magic because they aren't known about much and are rather mystical. The people that have them are regarded as magic. There is also witchcraft which is another long ass explanation.
So I can't quite think of a name for the main power system, what kind of sciency name can I give it, currently I just call it mana manipulation, bit that doesn't fell right still.
