Post Body

I''m currently building a Sci-Fi setting and was curious about how people feel about this. One of the examples I was struggling were vibration based swords, basically vibrossords from Star Wars.

This obviously isn't scientifically accurate. As far as aware the difference between a normal sword and one with a hypersonic vibration generator would basically be negligible. Archaic weapons in Sci-Fi have always been really core to me.

Note that the setting does have Psionics in it, so it already fantastical anyways, but there's arguably a difference between adding in a new fantastical element and changing the rules of already existing physics.
