So we all remember the tying up the walkers legs tactic used in Star Wars, which is exactly the reason why tanks and jets are used in warfare instead of mechs, since with a mech if one leg is destroyed or damaged the entire thing falls apart. So what is a plausible justification for mechs instead of tanks and jets?
