Pit fighting might not be the right word here, perhaps ‘Contracted Death Matches’ is more appropriate. I’ve been bouncing this idea around for a while and it boils down to an underground fight club where micro contracts are made between a fighter and a summoned demon/devil/fiend. The fighter grants the entity a temporary possession of their mind and body, sometimes also working with the thing and in return the entity gets a break from the Hells. Highly regulated within the context of it being illegal activity. What do you think? Feel free to add comments and suggestions to further expand on the idea, the world is sort of Shadowrun/Bioshock/Sonnie’s Edge of Love Death and Robots, with a lot of other punks tossed around in there.
