Hey y'all! I just wanted to know what the general consensus is about dropping weight to get more reps. I'm currently training in the 8-12 rep range for three sets. Usually on my last sets , I am able to reach the 8-9th rep to failure. But I often feel my muscles have more to give, so i drop the weight by 10 pounds and I am able to rep out 4-5 more. Is this effective? Is it even worth it? Would appreciate any advice.
This question is generally directed for my cable excercises, easy to drop weights. Thanks!
