Hello everyone. I am looking for a workout suggestions/ideas.
I have a home gym with some bought equipment as well as some DIY equipment.
I have a bench that I can incline. I have a barbell that some guy made himself and I got it as a gift (10kg 30mm one). I also have plates to add to it for a total weight of about 100kg or so. I also have stand for the barbell to where I can do bench and squat and OHP and stuff. Its not a rack but it works..
I have those dumbbells where I can add the weight to it myself. Could probably go up to about 30kg on both.
I also have some kettlebells - 16, 20 and 24kg in weight.
I also have some cheaper TRX. Not the original one but it works :P.
I usually workout 1-3 times/week, depends on many factors. I do train some more self defence oriented martial art where its all combined - krav maga, judo, jiu-jitsu, etc. I have those 2 times a week and I combine my weight lifting with that.
Currently I am doing a relatively simple workout to where I start with a bench, then I do chin-ups and pushups in a superset, then I either do rows or I use TRX to pull myself of the ground for my back, then I go to OHP and at the end I do some crunches or some other ab exercises. That is about it.
I usually add some split squats to it but I have to be somewhat careful as my knees are not doing that great. I have found some good exercises that should help my knees so I will add them in for sure...
Now I would like to change my workouts a bit. I am not looking to become the biggest guy you ever seen or anything like that - that is not even realistic for me with working out only 1-3 times and not really having my diet in check. I would like to be somewhat strong, athletic, look decent without my shirt on and have a decently good cardio. I would probably be looking for a workout routine where it would also have some conditioning in it rather than just strength and/or size.
I would happy with any suggestions, workout routines, etc. that I could do that would fit with what I want.
Thanks. Have a great day :)
