For me, I love so many ways to get moving: skiing, volleyball, basketball, hiking, swimming etc. But I am a beginner at all of them, except hiking, so I often don't do anything consistently.
My fitness goals are basically to age well, to be able to build strength to make every day activities easier (less back pain, carrying groceries) as well as reach bucket lists like a blue run one day skiing, or climbing a mountain peak.
It's so hard to build a routine and get started. I don't have a gym membership and I told myself that with calisthenics I can do everything I need at home our outdoors. But I haven't done anything at all to get started, and I feel so overwhelmed just getting started.
How did you get from a slump like where I'm at now, to consistency that is sustainable?
