So I came up with a gym routine, I saw some work outs then I just put them together. Is this realistic and reasonable for a beginner like me?
2 days upper body 2 days lower body
Warm up: Arms circle: 20-30 seconds (forward and backward) Jog in place (3 minutes) Chest expansion (horizontal x10, vertical x10) Hamstring scoop (x10) Knee hugs (x10) Hip rotation (x10)
Main work out
(Upper body): Lateral pull down (3 set, 10-12 reps) or Lateral raise (3 set, 10-12 reps) Dumbbell front raise (3 set, 10-15 reps) RDL, 2 dumbells (4 set, 10 reps) 10 min treadmill run/steep incline brisk walk (no hands) Tricep extention (4 sets, 10 reps)
(Lower body): Squat with dumbbell (3 sets, 10 reps) Alternate lunges with dumbell (4 sets, 10 reps) Goblet squats (4 sets, 10 reps) 10 min treadmill run/steep incline brisk walk (no hands)
