Are you supposed to be sweating a lot during a workout?

Hey there! I notice that when i’m doing weight lifting, my breathing increases and I end up only sweating a tiny bit. I still get tired, but definitely not like when I do intense cardio workouts. When I do really intense full body workouts like during rowing class or bouldering, I sweat a lot.
If i’m doing weight lifting but I’m not sweating that much, although heart rate is increased, does this mean I’m not working out hard enough? How do I make it more intense apart from just adding more weight? I find myself if I add more weight, i’m injuring my joints lol.
