28m 6"1' - I picked up weights for the first time in my life in early October 2022 and at the time I weighed 153 pounds. (I was overweight many years ago and lost 115 pounds) Currently I'm 182, so I've put on 29 pounds in 8 months and haven't seen much fat gain but definitely some.

I started out VERY skinny. My waist was 28 inches when I started and now it's 31. I have gotten wayyyy stronger and am definitely bigger now. In the last few weeks especially I've gotten quite a few comments about looking bigger.

So I'm wondering, am I gaining a bit too fast even though I'm not seeing much fat gain? I'd like to bulk up to 215 before I cut but considering I'm new to this I'm not sure if that's a bad idea or not?

Any advice or suggestions is appreciated.
