The literature on Google is all over the place on this. I have a bunch of it I don’t use, as my blood sugar and insulin resistance were really high prior to starting TRT, dieting, and 5-6x a week lifting. I no longer need it for those, as they are now stellar.
But I still have a bunch of it!
I am told it’s great for fat loss if you take it with dinner, but will prevent hypertrophy. I’m on a cut, so this isn’t super important, but with TRT I can still make small gains on a judicious cut.
So, what’s everyone’s take on Metformin and cutting phases?
