My oldest has really fine, dirty strawberry hair. It doesn’t hold any kind of hair tie because it’s so thin. That being said, every morning when she wakes up it’s all knots. I am at a loss and I don’t know what to do! My husband says we should have shaved her head over the summer and prayed it came in thicker, but she’s six! That would’ve been a disaster.

I need help! I don’t know what to do with her head. I try to get the knots out by hand and sometimes by brush, but she always cries and says it hurts.

I should note, I had the same problem when I was a kid. But then my mom shaved my head and it grew in thick and stopped being a problem 🙄
