ETA: Thanks so much to everyone sharing all of your experiences. I found out this morning that my son will be in a class with 2 other kids and 2 teachers until our area goes into the next phase of reopening. They are doing a lot to keep people safe and I feel much better. It's also nice to hear that the world didn't end for a lot of you and that sending yours kids back was good for your family. Stay safe and take care everyone!

Our daycare is set to reopen next week. My spouse and I have both been working from home and tag teaming our toddler's care. We are so, so tired (like most parents these days).
The daycare is taking COVID precautions and the teachers/staff will be wearing masks. My state/county is doing okay numbers wise, but of course I'm still nervous because we've been on strict lock down since March.
I wish I could keep him home indefinitely, but this is going to keep dragging on for who knows how long. What we are doing now is not sustainable and my work has been piling up. I honestly don't know how we've made it this long!
I'd love to hear some experiences of other parents who have sent their kids back into daycare. What has it been like? Is everyone still healthy? Did anybody send their kid to daycare and catch COVID? I'm going to be paranoid at every cough or sniffle from now on...
