Debating a move to third shift

Post Body

I'm currently in the process of looking for a new job. My current one is pretty low pay, and has no room for advancement. I'm also planning on going back to school within 6 months to a year. The opportunity has come up for a part time third shift, and I'm trying to decide if I should take it. I've done third shift before and didn't mind it, but haven't since I've had a kid. My husband does morning routine and daycare drop off, so I'd be able to come home and sleep right away, then I'd pick him up from daycare and have afternoon shift until my husband got home and I went to work. Overall I'd probably get a little more time with my kid than I currently do which would be nice. It would also be a pay raise, and slightly more responsibility. Any moms who have done this, what was it like? Would you recommend it?
