Post Body

Currently in a job I enjoy on a team with a healthy dynamic. Easily the best team I’ve been part of. Fully remote which I enjoy and balance well.

Offer on the table for new role, different team, much higher salary that will speed up my financial goals. Much more complex work, increased volumes. Hybrid which I have not done since 2017 and would rather not do.

In your experience, is a higher salary always worth it? Would you work a job that had a better work-life balance for a lower salary? I can make hybrid work if I have to, guess I’m just looking for advice on which way to turn.

Comments

Are you so certain that the other members of your team being as conflicted? If they all got similar offers and left, you’d be stuck with a different team at the same pay.
