DO WHILE LOOP

Is it possible to create a loop, with a dynamic break condition in the loop? I tried the repeat function using a variable, changing the variable in the repeat function, but the new value is ignored and is not evaluated in the next loop run. Any ideas?
(trying to create a barcode scanner, scanning unknown count of items. when finished export as a list.)
