I have this coworker who seems to like to White Knight for everyone else. We will call her T. I have been with the company for 5 years; T has been with us for just under a year. She claims that I treat my other coworkers like shit, for standard verbal banter and sparing between friends (I've double checked with all my coworkers if they believe that I treat them like shit; no one of them say that I have and they point out that I'm quick to apologize if I think something I've said is too mean). Lately she's taken up trying to discredit everything little thing I say and make it seem like I'm incompetent at my job (spoiler: I'm not. I'm actually one of the best, and according to my boss I am one of 2 employees that covers 75% of our sales; she isn't). She bosses me around like shes my manager, she says snide things to me and to others about me. She's even started invading my personal space, making sure to touch me as she passes by (she knows I don't like being touched and that I have PTSD; so I think she's trying to goad me into doing something brash)
I've gone to management several times, before this escalated as bad as it is. They refused to actually do anything and kept up with the "that's just how she is" mantra of rugsweeping the situation. I've basically given up. My numbers actually reflected that for once. Maybe it was just that kinda day, which happens occasionally, but very rarely does it happen to me like this. I ended up crying at work and refused to talk about it with anyone, and instead told them I needed a smoke. I said "the numbers have me down, but that's nothing. I have other things going on." And left it at that.
Maybe its relevant maybe it's not, but I'm also a woman who is openly LGBT. I even wear a pin that says so. T has been openly LGBT phobic towards me in the past.
