I work as a diesel mechanic and have worked 7-12’s for the past 3 months with no end in sight. I get up at 4:30 am, get to work at 6 work until 6pm, come home, eat, and fall asleep 20 minutes into a movie every day. I haven’t seen anyone outside of work in 3 months. I stay up until 9 on Friday nights to do laundry and clean up around the house and then on Saturday I’m dead on my feet at work because I didn’t get enough sleep. Anybody else found a hack to actually be able to have a life outside a cycle of working, being sore, and sleeping?
