To fess or just fix and forget?

I made a mistake at work but I know how to fix it. I don't want to tell my boss my error because I don't want her to not have trust in me. But she might see that I had to fix the error. Should I just fess up now? I don't want to that to make things worse though. And my boss has a lot on the go right now I don't want to stress her out. But don't want her to be mad I didn't say anything before.
