This has happened to me almost 4 times now but I started my new job and was asked to do things as quickly as possible. I was worried about job security to which each firm assured me that there was more work coming in. Of course, as soon as the work dries up, I was given my marching orders.
I know this is how a lot of businesses work but I just think it’s unfair when people are let go cause work runs out. At least try to find new roles for them there or in other locations if possible.
Any other unfair reasons you’ve been let go?
