If my employer finds out I’m looking for another job and fires me, can I collect unemployment?

I am currently looking for another job and I’m afraid that if my employer finds out they’ll fire me. Could I collect unemployment if this happens? The reason I’m afraid of this is because I have my LinkedIn account listed as “open to work,” however it says only recruiters can see it. Still makes me kind of paranoid.
