Post Body
I was planning on buying the Dewalt with a Shelix head, but just stumbled on the used Delta. I can buy the Delta, put a Shelix head in it for about $350 more than what the Dewalt will run me.
The Delta is a big, heavy, 220V old style machine. To me, it's a no-brainer that the old, plastic-free machine is the way to go, but am I missing something? This is my first planer, and a fairly significant investment for a small hobby shop.
Thanks
