The clear coat on this box was damaged, so I scraped it all off, and will be repainting the top and replacing the cards. What I don’t know is what that coating was (Varnish, polyurethane, shellac, etc.) What’s a sealant that you can pour thick (about 1mm) to seal objects like cards under it?
