Stickley sofa.. so many slats

I'm making a Stickley sofa and matching chair, I have 120 slots to sand, some have pretty good burn marks. What's the best method? I have a drum sander, if I use that do I put a bunch in a row and put them all through together or one at a time or how? I'm kind of an idiot. Please advise
