Hi woodworkers of reddit!
I have very little experience with woodworking or refinishing furniture so I need advice.
I have a table that was painted green and I wanted to remove the paint and stain it. There is some pretty big bubbling on the top of the table due to water damage.
I used a chemical stripper to remove the paint and I have successfully done that on the two surfaces. Some of the paint kind of spread around so I'm not sure if I'll just need to sand it off? Also what do I do about these big water damage bubbles now that the paint is off that surface?
I also sanded down some of the small water damage bubbles but you can still see the circles of where the bubbles were. Is there a way to get rid of them or will they not be visible once I stain it?
Here are the photos:
Thanks y'all!!
