What bandsaw blade?

I'll be making bandsaw boxes for Christmas. 4.5" thick. I have a 1/4" 6tpi blade that cuts fine I just can't turn the corners well. The maker of the box suggests 3/16 4tpi skip tooth which would be great I just can't get the blade in time for Christmas. What I can get before Christmas is A) 3/16" 10tpi Or B) 1/8" 14tpi Would A or B work well or just have too many teeth and burn the wood?
