Hoping to get some help from my fellow tree carcass manglers.
I'm building a vanity for our bathroom and decided to do a bamboo top ("laminated bamboo")
I may stain it or leave it natural, haven't decided yet. Will definately need to do some test pieces to see how the bamboo takes up the stain.
Obviously this vanity top is going to see a lot of moisture and use, so I want the finish to be waterproof and as durable as possible. The vanity will get daily sun so non-yellowing is also important.
I think I want a pour-on epoxy resin finish like the one shown here or liquid glass finish
Another option I could do is many layers of water based poly.
Are there other options I should consider? Any tips/thoughts on the pour-on epoxy?
