I'm thinking about building myself a shaving horse. There are quite a few plans that I've found online that are made in different styles, but before I jump into this I figured I'd pick the brains of the experienced. If you've used multiples, do you prefer the European style or the English style? Will I screw myself over if I build it with all the leftover cedar that I have, or should I really invest in some hardwood to build it from? Before beginning the build, is there anything else I should take into consideration? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
