I picked up a very low mileage Grizzly G0555p 14" bandsaw for a decent price. It was is missing the fence, but everything else works pretty well... For the most part.
I was tuning it last night with the assistance of a video posted by /u/screwikea in another thread, when I ran into a snag. I had the upper guide and thrust bearings adjusted perfectly, until I tried to raise the upper guide. As soon as it was moved from the position that I had it in when tuning it up, one or more of the bearings started to touch the blade.
Is there some adjustment that I am missing on the upper guide, or will I need to just back all three of the upper bearings off so that they don't touch no matter how tall the upper guide is?
Any information or insight that you woodwizards can share would be hugely appreciated.
