Polyurethane on a wooden ring
Post Body

Hey Guys, I've decided to make a couple of rings from plane shavings (I got the idea from /u/TKRSRY's post.

I was just wondering whether a spray on polyurethane finish would be suitable as the people I would give these rings too are unlikely to be able to apply coats of wax/oil on a regular basis. My main concern is that sometimes polyurethane is labeled as an irritant substance but I'm sure I've read about people using it to finish rings anyway.
