What are some MUST have hand tools for my shop?
Post Body

I am currently working on carving a stool and bench from a cedar that I had to take down at my house. My goal is to complete both of the projects (aside from the initial rough cuts with my chainsaw) with hand tools.

I am very new to woodworking and am looking to slowly build up my tool stockpile. Hopefully some of you out there with a lot more experience than myself can share some insight on what your favorite tools are.

Thus far I have been working with a Stanley Bailey block plane (love it), and a basic chisel set.

Bonus: progress pic of stool
