Need advice on how to fix wooden door.

Take all the hardware off, scrape off any paint, set the door on its side, build a little dam around the crack area, and pour 5 minute epoxy into the crack. It won't take much, try not to leave too much on the surface. Repeat with the edge of the door up, and with the other side up if necessary.
Once the epoxy is cured, sand it all down flush.
