I want to tackle building a democratic chair. Way above my current skill level but I want a time consuming challenge. Thoughts? Will be made from air dryed ash ( 5 years), currently have 2 spokeshaves and an 8" drawknife, both of which I'm green with. Just been shaving some scraps.
Insert joke the wood should be green and I should have 5 years of experience.
Got this shave horse idea straight from google images. Couple 2x4's, pivoting rod is a knockout rod from my lathe. Use scrap shims to adjust height for the work piece. And topped it all off with a cabinet door to keep from tipping my workbench 😂
