So I was making shelf top...did the sanding and was going to round over all the edges. I took out my router added the bit. The vacuum attachment for my router broke so I usually just use it without now but this time I figured to cut the mess a bit I'll just hold the shopvac hose end to the front of router. I get all set up and start the router and put the hose end of vacuum in front of router and get started routing. I see wood bits and saw dust flying around and I adjust my hose thinking "wow, this is making a mess still" so I put hose closer and adjusting as I go all around. I finish routing all the edges and turn it off. I go to turn off the vacuum and it's not even on. Doh! And this didn't happen once...but twice. I cleaned up, called it quits and had a drink.
