Iβm helping out a musician friend who has a ton of cables, microphones, mic stands etc. and has to haul them all over their facility to set up outside or in different buildings. Currently, they are in a box or in some cabinets.
I thought a rolling pegboard stand would help, as he could avoid the box of tangled cables, and have 95% of his stuff available to him without walking back and forth.
The prices are pretty crazy (~$500) for what I saw in a quick search. Iβm thinking something 36β x 30β x 54β. Iβve got a spare pegboard, some 2x4βs, a ton of solid retail pegboard hooks, and would just need the 36x30β plywood base and 4 HF 3β wheels (on sale).
Iβd use a plywood triangle for one side for stability, and use 2x4βs at an angle on the other so itβs open and he can put longer items on their side.
Any suggestions on the rough design? I figured Iβd use some Simpson brackets to mount the 2x4 frame to the base, and alternate them front and back of the pegboard?
Any help/advice would be appreciated!
