Overdue cleaning today

Went 1 year burning part time and thought I was fine going into this season, but chimney didn't want to draw as well as I know it usually does. Had a decent day so I got the ladder and went to work.
The liner was better than I expected - ugly, but ultimately not much there. The cap was a disaster - I still might replace it before next winter. But also, why i think there is no real replacement for top down once a year. Gotta get up there and look even if you can clean from the bottom most of the time.
Anyway - roast me, or ask questions. Dirty job, but has to be done.
