Even in 2025, it feels like a womanâs relationship statusâsingle, married, divorced, partneredâis still a topic of endless scrutiny. A close friend of mine recently shared her story that really struck a chord. Sheâs 37, incredibly successful in her career, and loves her independence. But at a recent family gathering, the only question she kept getting was, âWhy arenât you married yet?â ughhhhh When she tried to explain that sheâs happy as she is, she was met with pity and unsolicited advice about ânot waiting too long.â really ?? still happens these days !!! ? On the flip side, another woman I know, a 45-year-old who has been married for over two decades, constantly gets asked why she doesnât have children, as though her marriage isnât enough without them.
