I've been trying to find out a bit about where the womb tattoo we all know and love came from, but search engine results keep returning SEO-bait garbage. When I found this subreddit I was hoping I'd found the place to learn more. But all I found was a 2-year old post that only had a couple of replies and nobody really knew.
I can see they're used in the Taimanin game series, and I also found they can be called "lewd crests" or "Inmon", but are there any good articles or posts or wikis on them?
I'm really curious as to where they showed up first (erogames, hentai, BDSM communities, somewhere else?) and whether anyone is credited with the original designs.
Can anyone satisfy my curiosity please?
