Post Body

Lord Adrian Botley sat in a seat made from the first longship to sail from the harbour of Lordsport. He was a man of 45, with brown hair and a small cropped beard fitting his face. He wore a suit of ringmail and leathers with the sigil of House Botley on the front.

He was listening to a petition from one of his raiders, "M'lord, please. I jus' needed the gold, the fat cunt had so much gold his children wore silk everyday. My boy wears rags. That ain't fair. He deserves t' die." Lord Botley started at the man, small sharp eyes flanked his small crooked nose. The court was silent until a soft voice resonated from the lord "But he was not your man to kill. I fear my steward is a member of my household and if I were to judge him to be to affluent I would take the appropriate measures." The man interrupted "M'lord but my boy he wears..." Adrian Botley stood up and began to shout "I don't give a shit if your son has to walk from Karhold to Gulltown naked. You don't kill my men. But if you want to take something from my men I'll take something from you." Turning to a guard he said "Bring me this raider's son, and bring me my axe."

Much later the guard returned with a boy of 12 and an axe of heavy black steel with an oaken shaft. Adrian took the axe and turned to the raider. "Now I'm going to kill your son, then I'm going to cut of your arm off. He took the axe and sliced into the son's neck and then he took the axe and swung it so it ripped through clothes and flesh to separate the raider's left arm at the elbow.
