I bought some cheap but still okay micro spikes but they are kinda cheap and were starting to create some hot spots on my feet (I will still use them as rock spikes). I was looking at kahtoola micro spikes or the hillsound trail crampons. I have heard that the plates on the hill sounds can cause snow to pile up is that true? Which do y’all recommend?
