So I have been mostly doing short walks as I can, to try and boost up my walking again after being so exhausted after surgery.
Yesterday and the day before, I was able to walk 30 minutes at a time, and pretty fast!! I feel like I was still a little winded but still able to do it and excited about it. Normally my chest would get really tight or breathing weird, or my back would bind up, and I'd be done for and have to bend to stretch out my back or wait a while to keep walking.
I was thinking about getting a small walking mat for under my desk at home and a rising desk attachment, and not sure if it's worth it? Or should I save it for the gym/park? If you have any experience with one let me know your thoughts.
I'd love to know what sort of exercises you found worked best for you after surgery? Right now I'm going low impact on everything and not using my hands, but would love to know what you've tried and really enjoyed as you've gone through your journey.
