Witcher 1 basics?

Hey everyone, I've just completed the tutorial/intro to TW1, and I'm extremely confused by everything from the interface, to combat, to what skills I should take or specialize in. I also dislike how the camera handles, but I assume I'll get used to it. Are there any basic guides or something to help me?
