Starting my Witcher Adventure from Witcher 1. Is there anything I should know?

So I finally got the GOTY edition, Witcher 2 and Witcher 1 after reading all those awesomeness about The Witcher franchise. And i'm planning to start from the very beginning perhaps Witcher 1, Is there anything i should be aware of as a newbie? Cause I am new to this type of games and i usually play MOBA.
