It's been around a week since I've had a Witcher, which I've mostly spent tweaking graphics settings and implementing small changes to achieve a playable FPS. I know "help" posts aren't very welcome, but after a few years of hype, constant browsing of the subreddit, and playing for 10 hours with absolutely brutal, Powerpoint-esque FPS, I'm getting kind of desperate.
I'm running the game on a NVidia GeForce GTX 670MX, which I've heard isn't ideal for the game, but users have managed to pull off a stable framerate at medium settings.
I've tried every little graphical tweak I could find online, from settting all my graphics to the absolute lowest, manually updating my driver, setting draw distance to 1, capping FPS, killing NVidia's stream service, playing on fullscreen, hairworks off, etc. Oddly enough, I get the same FPS (~ 5 - 15) across all graphical settings, and none of the tweaks have produced any notable effect. Even though Witcher 3 is* an immensely demanding game, it's the first game I've been unable to run on max settings.
Any input would be highly helpful. Thanks!
