Just read book #8 Season of Storms, it's about Geralt's adventures before he went to help Foltest.
Safe to say Witcher events order should be book #8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 then game 1, 2, 3?
Also, in Season of the storms, Yennifer seems to know Geralt already. So it means the Djnn incident happened before year 1245??
