The people who have actually read the books and played the video games… do you really think the Witcher is a bad adaption/bad show? Watching it as someone who has no background about this world, I find the story and the world very compelling.

Post Body

I’m mostly just posting to gather the thoughts of people who actually know the lore since I really love Henry Cavill in the role of Geralt and I believe some of the reasons stated on why he would be leaving is disagreement with the writers/show runners on the direction of the show. But I really like the show so was just wondering if the show maybe really triggers people who’ve played the games and read the books.

Edit: Haha, from all the comments it just seems like I have a very low standard for entertainment. Maybe let me go read the books and come back to gain some culture and raise my standards. Thanks to the peeps who shared their POV. 😆
