Is it normal for the bottom of a flame to be blue?

Post Body

My BF is getting up at 2:45am tomorrow morning to go fishing so I created a candle sigil to help him drive safe and not fall asleep at the wheel. When I lit the candle it began dancing a lot and there's no air on or windows open in my home. the bottom of the flame is also blue. could this mean something?
